my style of yoga teaching
I am a huge advocate of any movement is better than no movement. As a working, studying Mum of two I know just how easy it is to put your own health and wellbeing at the bottom of the list.
BUT I also know that when I carve out even just 20-30 minutes on my mat to move and breathe then I am a better mother, wife, student and colleague.
More than anything my mind shifts to a positive state, my energy levels increase and I feel calmer. Let alone the physical benefits of increased muscle tone, flexible but stable joints, increased bone density and better balance.

Yes of course! There are foundations videos that you can start with and work your way through the videos when you feel more confident. You don’t have to be able to do anything before you start other than have an open mind and don’t take yourself too seriously!

A mat, a couple of blocks (or big books) then if you want to also get a strap and a bolster you could but it’s not necessary.

All you need is the space the size of a yoga mat, you can practice wherever works for you!

There are a range of class durations from 20 mins to 60 mins so you can pick and choose depending on how much time you have.

Imagine you did a 20 min class 3 times a week, then imagine you did that every month, every year. Would you say that you’d be better off after 52 hours of yoga a year or not? I think it’s simple! Any amount of movement is better than none. Start small and work your practice realistically into your life so you can try and be consistent and keep it up!
